We are pleased to announce that thanks to generous 50% grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, we have been able to strip out, remove decayed lead and totally rebuild the stained glass windows at either side of the pulpit.
The two gothic windows on the same elevation which were also in a serious state of decay have also been replaced.
These repairs were the subject of numerous quinquennial reports, but the works delayed due to lack of funds. However, this grant has enabled us to carry out this important conservation work.
The two large windows were removed for the
work to be carried out.
